On being named “Bawse of the Year” by GQ magazine, Rick Ross explained, “It’s been a power-player year.” That it has. The rapper and label head offered a bit of advice to the smokers of the world, ladies of the land, as well as expounded a bit on the pursuit of power.

And how about being named the tenth-most-powerful man in hip-hop by The Source?“I’m the typa dude who feels like he could take number two next year.” But why not number one this year? “The moves I make, I ain’t never in no rush.”
