Veda Loca’s Hot Mess… Tyler the Creator’s Mountain Dew Commercial Pulled Due To “Racism” and “Violence Against Women”
Tyler the Creator is the latest rapper to be picked up by Mountain Dew.
The company has asked Tyler to direct 3 commercials, of which some of the “Odd Future” members appear.
Well, one of them has been cut from being played online and on television due to “racism and violence against women”
According to hiphopdx.com:
Author/Economist Dr. Boyce Watkins said it was,“arguably the most racist commercial in history.” As it features a stereotypical black criminal lineup and a battered white woman.
