XXL Magazine Releases Five Covers To Celebrate 40 Years of Hip-Hop
XXL Pays Homage To Hip-Hop With Five Collector Magazine Covers
Hip-Hop is 40 years old, and XXL Magazine paid homage to the culture with five covers of some of hip-hop’s most influential emcees.
While hip-hop has seen  its fair share of highs (Nas’ “Illmatic” Jay Z’s Reasonable Doubt, OutKast’s “Speakerboxxx/LoveBelow“) and lows (Anything Trinidad James does)  these five covers bring fans and readers down memory lane to showcase just how far the culture has come.
Hip-Hop is 40 and still looking good.
The magazines hits news stands Dec. 19
