Fast 7 Released Date Pushed Back To 2015
Paul Walker’s death via car crash took the film industry and his friends and colleagues by surprise. Unfortunately, the effects of his death are still being felt in Hollywood a little less than a month later.
While originally set for a July 11, 2014 release date, the seventh film in the “Fast and Furious” franchise has been pushed back to April 10, 2015, due to the major reshoots needed to compensate for Walker’s death. All of Walker’s pre-shot scenes will be included, according to Universal Studios, but no one knows in what capacity.
Walker’s co-star Vin Diesel posted this message on his Facebook page on Tuesday:
The last scene we filmed together…
There was a unique sense of completion, of pride we shared… in the film we were now completing… the magic captured… and, in just how far we’ve come…
Fast and Furious 7 will be released…
April 10th 2015!
P.s. He’d want you to know first…
“Fast 7″ will be directed by James Wan.
