Snoop Dogg: The Best Rapper Turned Actor? [VIDEO]

In an effort to diversify their income, rappers have taken their talents to the acting side of the entertainment business. In fact, rappers scoring film roles have become so commonplace that nobody bats an eye when they hear about rappers in films. But rewind to the early 90s and it was a huge deal to see Queen Latifah playing a sharp-tongued waitress in Spike Lee’s “Jungle Fever.”

One of the actors who benefitted from Latifah’s pioneering is West Coast legend Snoop Dogg-Lion. Recently, TMZ cameras caught him taking pictures with fans and asked him about the trend of rappers becoming actors. Snoop Dogg-Lion said he was the best at it. His comments got everyone around him laughing, but we think Snoop wasn’t being facetious.
