Michael Jai White & Tyson Beckford To Star In ‘Chocolate City’ Film

In all things in the name of chocolate, Michael Jai White and Tyson Beckford will star in “Chocolate City,” a film that sets out to will expose the world of male strippers. Yes. Michael and Tyson, dancing…wearing nothing but a sock. Let’s all rejoice.

“Chocolate City” will follow the “Magic Mike” model. The film stars a boy named Devin, “a college student struggling to make ends meet who meets the owner of a male strip club (Michael) who convinces him to give amateur night a whirl.”

According to Deadline, the director Jean-Claude LaMarre said this about the project, “This movie was in gestation for 2 1/2 years, but after Magic Mike it seemed a natural fit for the African-American female audience…I researched the male exotic club scene and it’s massive across the country, with clubs specifically targeting middle-aged African-American women.”

Our birthday just came early.

Quvenzhane Wallis Named Face Of Armani Junior

If you thought Quvenzhane Wallis was cute before, she just landed a new gig and it oozes of adorableness. The “Beasts of the Southern Wild” actress was named the new face of Armani Junior making her the “first major child celebrity to be the face of a luxury brand.” She was photographed by Stefano Azario.

“Quvenzhane is so talented, despite her young age. Her kindness, curiosity and openness towards others really struck me, as they are all traits I admire. It is for this very reason that I wanted her to be the face of Armani Junior. With her insatiable energy, Quvenzhane made the clothing come alive, interpreting it in her own singular way,” says Giorgio Armani.

This isn’t Quvenzhane’s only “first,” if you don’t remember, Wallis was the youngest Academy Award nominee in a lead role of all time. When she isn’t stuffing puppies into her satin jacket, the 10-year-old star is filming the film-adaptation of “Annie,” so-starring Jamie Foxx and Cameron Diaz.

In related news, Quvenzhane wasn’t the only celebrity kid who stole our heart this week. Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz’s song Egypt Dean walked in the 2014 Ralph Lauren Children’s Fashion Show in Support of Literacy on Monday. Check him out in action, below:

Tae Heckard Was In A Domestic Partnership With A Woman?

In today’s “what the what” news, Tae Heckard (the same woman who caused drama between Ashanti and Nelly and Teyana Taylor and Brandon Jennings) has been in a domestic partnership with a woman by the name of Monique Blanton since 2008.

Well, Tae is officially moving on and filed papers to end the arraignment. Rumor has it, Tae and NBA player Brandon Jennings are engaged…now they can actually get married (if they are).

According to TMZ, Tae and Blanton have been separated since 2011 due to irreconcilable differences. They also speculate that it Tae and Monique allegedly faked their union to save money on taxes.

Made In America Lineup Announced

We were a little skeptical about this year’s “Budweiser Made In America” festival lineup because who could they possibly get that would outdo last year’s headliner Beyonce? The answer is no one, but if we had to put anyone on her level (or slightly below) it would Kanye West! That’s right folks, Yeezus is coming to “Made In America” according to tweets by The Stashed. If that doesn’t get you jogging to the ticket booth, he will be joined by Pharrell and J. Cole! Get your “Happy” hats ready…

The festival will take place simultaneously in downtown Los Angeles at the Grand Park and Philadelphia at the Benjamin Franklin Parkway (where it’s been thus far) on August 30 and 31st.

August Alsina Posts Image Of Himself Hanging?

If you were scrolling through Twitter last night, you may have noticed that August Alsina dead as a trending search term and it could be because he hanged himself and posted the picture on Instagram. Umm…we’re utterly disturbed.

“Rest in peace Aug. Forever missed #holdyoudownforlife,” he captioned the photo. Apparently the image is from his from the video shoot of his latest single featuring Pusha T, “FML.”

August recently released his debut album “Testimony” that he promoted on “106 & Park.” You probably remember his appearance…the one when he shut down host Keshia Chante when she asked about Trey Songz. Well, Trey Songz recently responded and said he has nothing but love for his homie because he knows all he’s been through.

Charlie Sheen Comes For Rihanna

Charlie Sheen blasted Rihanna because she didn’t want to meet him or his fiance. Sorry Charlie, but we wouldn’t want to meet you either. According to TMZ, Charlie and Ri Ri were dining at the same restaurant in Santa Monica. Sheen, who was celebrating his fiance’s birthday, sent a request to her table for a meet-and-greet which she decline, saying “there were too many paps outside.”

Welp, Charlie Sheen doesn’t take “No” very well. He wrote back, “”Nice impression you left behind, Bday or not. Sorry we’re not KOOL enough to warrant a blessing from the Princess (or in this case the Village idiot).”

He continued to rant about the bad gal on Twtter. “I guess “Talk That Talk” was just a big ol lie from a big ol liar,” he wrote. “oh and Riahnna, Halloween isn’t for a while. but good on you for testing out your costume in public. it’s close; a more muted pink might be the answer, as in: none.”

In related drunk and disorderly news, Mase’s wife Twyla Betha was arrested last month for a DUI after a breathalyzer test showed that she had consumed two times the legal limit. She plead guilty to the charge and her church, El Elyon International Church, abandoned her in the process.

In case you missed it, Twyla and Mase are currently going through a bitter divorce and apparently the entire congregation is fed up with her too. She was allegedly banned from the pulpit.
