Vivica A. Fox On Bill Cosby Sexual Assault Allegations: ‘I Defend Him & Stand By Him’
Add Vivica A. Fox as another supporter of Bill Cosby’s. While making an appearance on The Meredith Vieira Show, Vivica defended Cosby against the allegations he raped, drugged or sexually assaulted nearly over two dozen women over the years. During the Celebrity Apprentice contestant’s visit on Thursday, Vivica and Meredith discussed Keisha Knight Pulliam handling media questions surrounding her former television dad and the claims of 29 women accused him of drugging, raping or sexually assaulting them over the past four decades.
Vivica remarked:
She [Keisha] handled it like a class act. It’s part of it they would attach her name to it because they have history together. I worked on the Cosby show and was honored to do the show, and I have to agree with Keshia. The man I met was nothing like the man they are describing. He was nice, kind, there was no sexual overtones or anything so I defend him and I stand by him as well, too.

Vivica’s defense of the fallen comic comes on the heels of Cosby’s former onscreen wife Phylicia Rashad’s support for the man once dubbed “America’s favorite dad”. Phylicia’s comments have sparked controversy where she told a reporter about the claims against Cosby:
Forget these women. What you’re seeing is the destruction of a legacy. And I think it’s orchestrated. I don’t know why or who’s doing it, but it’s the legacy. And it’s a legacy that is so important to the culture.
Phylicia has since stated she was misquoted.
