Joey Bada$$ Honors A$AP Yams, Hints At Pro Era Collab: ‘We Gotta Unify’
In the wake of A$AP Yams’ unexpected passing, Joey Bada$$ was asked how the A$AP Mob founder impacted the industry. “He pioneered a whole new generation,” Bada$$ said in an interview with Complex. “I don’t say that lightly.”
According to Joey, the two exchanged text messages days before Yams’ passing, and talked about their supportive bond. Bada$$ added that he feels Yams was here to guide others. “I believe that Yams was an angel,” he said. “Word up.”
During the interview, Joey also explained that he believes Pro Era and A$AP Mob will unify following Yams’ passing. “It’s only right,” he explained. “We gotta unify.”
