ABC Orders Shonda Rhimes Drama ‘The Catch’ for the 2015-2016 Season
Shonda Rhimes, the creator of the hit ABC series Grey’s Anatomy and Scandal and producer of How to Get Away with Murder (all three of which have been nominated for NAACP Image Awards for Outstanding Drama Series), continues her winning streak with the network as she prepares to deliver a new show, The Catch.
According to Variety, the crime thriller will center around a female forensic accountant with plenty of skeletons in her closet. As the lead character prepares to marry her fiancé, her secrets—and his—will result in nothing less than the kinds of nail-biting sparks we’ve come to expect from Shondaland.
The Catch is slated to premier as part of ABC’s 2015-2016 season.
