Eric Roberson Premiers “I’m Not Trying to Keep Score No More”
Eric Roberson Premiers New Clip “I’m Not Trying to Keep Score No More”
Soul singer Eric Roberson never disappoints with his songs about love and relationships. With his new single, “I’m Not Trying to Keep Score No More,” Erro speaks from the heart about wanting to get things right with his lady love instead of trying to “be right” all the time. The hilarious video for the song, directed by the mighty Digibees team, features an epic Battle of the Soul Stars. And naturally, since this is Eric Roberson, said battle involves not weapons of mass destruction, but rather a throw down on the greatest leveling field of all: A football field.
With cameos by Jodine Dortch, DJ Frances Jaye, Algebra Blessett, Carmen Rodgers, Anthony David, Avery*Sunshine, and a host of other indie soul, R&B, and hip-hop heavy-hitters, the battle of the sexes plays out on the makeshift gridiron against the backdrop of Roberson’s smooth vocals.
