Hardy could face a league suspension for violating the NFL’s domestic conduct policy due to domestic violence charges. On May 13, he was arrested and charged with assaulting and threatening to kill ex-girlfriend Nicole Holder.
If this works out it will be big for the Cowboys. Hardy started 39 games between 2011 and 2013. He has 34 career sacks. This off-season the Cowboys lost Running Back DeMarco Murray to their rival Philadelphia Eagles but replaced him with former Oakland Raider Darren McFadden.
