Jennifer Lopez’s stellar portrayal of Selena Quintanilla-Perez, in the 97 biopic Selena, made her an obvious choice to tribute the Grammy Award-winning icon, once again, at the Latin Music Awards on April 30.
“It’s an honor, a great honor to be able to, 20 years after her death, to do a tribute for Selena,” Lopez said on Al Rojo Vivo, a popular television program on Telemundo where the awards will air. “She continues to be someone that inspires. It’s something that excites me very much. And I want to do something special, very special—just like she was—in this tribute.”
We’re uber excited to see J. Lo channel Selena again. But, in the mean time, check out this gallery of gorgeous Selena photos.

Nicki Minaj broke the Internet earlier this week when she kinda announced her engagement to Meek Mill. After marveling the massive 15-carat rock she teased on Instagram, we thought to ourselves…hmm, what about her ex Safaree? Didn’t they just break up?
Apparently, someone else was thinking the same and created a fake Safaree page they used to blast Nicki Minaj and tweet racy pics of the “Pinkprint” rapper.
Safaree took to Twitter to address the rumors:
its a shame i have to even address this dumb sh*t but i have 1 twitter and its this 1 that is verified! For those of you who cnt read..learn

UP NEXT: The Cast Of Brotherly Love Covers Rolling Out
The stars of the film Brotherly Love — Keke Palmer, Cory Hardrict, Quincy Brown and Eric D. Hill Jr. — cover this month’s issue of Rolling Out Magazine.
The young stars opened up about making the film and its importance in today’s society.
“Brotherly Love is an important film because there haven’t been any generational films like this since The Wood [1999] and Love & Basketball [2000], not to discount any other films or to say we haven’t enjoyed others in different genres,” KeKe Palmer told Rolling Out. “We talk about real issues in Brotherly Love; we don’t tiptoe around them. It’s as genuine as if you are with your friends and you discuss violence, or talk about your future and what paths to travel to reach your [destiny]. It’s good to see films that make you think and ask yourself, ‘How can I apply that to my life?’ Brotherly Love definitely did that for me when I read the script.”
Recently, KeKe cleared up some drama about a statement she made about her co-star Cory Hardrict, who is married to Tia Mowry.
KeKe had mentioned her childhood crush on Cory in an interview about the film and Tia must have gotten things misconstrued. KeKe broke it all down to Wendy Williams:
I’ve known Cory since I was 10-years-old. He auditioned for ‘Akeelah and The Bee’ to play my big brother in the film. And in the interview I was talking about how the whole ‘Brotherly Love’ cast, we kind of grew up together. I’ve known Quincy since I was 14. I’ve known most of the cast since I was very young, including Cory. And I was like ‘I’ve known Cory since I was 10 and I was like I’m going to marry this man,’ as a 10-year-old. It was me quoting how I was as a kid.

Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker decided to take their families on a ski-trip to Colorado to “mend and blend” the broken relationships issues that were mostly started by Mama Joyce and brought Bravo cameras along for the ride.
In typical Mama Joyce fashion, she’s ab-so-lutely too turned up for our liking an at one point mentions Todd’s mother Sharon passing in an insensitive way. She then accused Todd of sleeping with Kandi’s best friend Carmen. Todd swore on his mother’s grave that he and Carmen never did anything. Just too much.
Tune in to the premiere on Bravo Sunday, May 17 at 8p ET/PT.
