August Alsina “Hip-Hop” (NEW VIDEO)
August Alsina released the music video for “Hip-Hop,” a song he dropped in April. The video debuted at the BET Awards pre-show last night.
Directed by Payne Lindsey, it uses Alsina’s hometown of New Orleans as a scenic backdrop to juxtapose urban life next to expansive and desolate bayous. Ultimately, the music video evokes a social message, with Alsina saying in the song he “can feel change.”
The video also shows folks holding up Black Lives Matter messages. If you want more info on all the political messages that went on during last night’s BET show, click here.
