Curren$y Drops “Cathedral” EP Feat. Raheem DeVaughn (NEW MUSIC)
Curren$y came in clutch for hip-hop fans last night, dropping a surprise EP titled Cathedral. Led by yesterday’s release “The Plug,” Cathedral features six new songs, a bonus track, and a guest appearance from legendary R&B singer Raheem DeVaughn.
Fans went nuts when the 34-year-old rapper debuted “Rhymes Like Weight” in April in honor of the annual smokers’ holiday 4/20, and like Even More Saturday Night Car Tunes, this new EP also showcases Curren$y’s laid back demeanor and effortless ease. Have a listen to “All Over,” one of our favorite tracks on Cathedral, above.
Curren$y raps, “This that 1989, oozie on the passenger seat / Corvette drop-top Ocean Drive / hoes all lookin’ at me, danger / audio Dope slinger.”
Let us know what you think of the track, and download the entire EP here.
