Azealia Banks Begs Black Media To Stop Covering Her Music, Says Publications Damaged Her Brand
Azealia Banks strikes again, but this time it’s not a rapper at the end of her dagger-filled tweets – it’s Black media.
Despite coverage she’s received over the years since “212” blew up, Azealia Banks thinks Black media outlets haven’t supported her unconditionally. We don’t know what prompted her latest Twitter diatribe, but she’s apparently fed up and “going White.” Because according to Azealia, “#NiggasNeverLovedMeIShouldReallyStopLovingThem.”
Uh…OK.
With the release of her long-delayed Broke With Expensive Taste album earlier this year and her heartfelt interview about systemic oppression and Black music at HOT 97 back in December, Black media has supported Azealia as much as the music’s allowed.
But Miss Banks let her bad habit of self-sabotage win again. Her loss…
