Nicki Minaj stirred up quite the controversy when she called out MTV for her visuals to “Anaconda” not being nominated for Video of the Year, but it looks like that’s in the past for now.
The Pinkprint singer has just been announced by the network as the opening performance to the MTV Video Music Awards this Sunday, and we know it’s going to be epic.
Ms. Minaj teased the announcement earlier today by posting a sonogram containing a moon man, poking fun at the recent false rumors that she was pregnant.
We’re so excited to see what Nicki has in store for her opening performance, as this is definitely a huge deal.
The 2015 MTV VMAs Airs Sunday, August 30 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT on MTV.
