The months usually known for OVO-induced hysteria are experiencing a Young Thug takeover. After finally dropping the video for “Best Friend,” Thugger finally released the long-awaited Slime Season mixtape.
It’s a packed affair with 18 tracks. But the tracklist’s big surprise is that Lil Wayne is featured on the very first track. Although Young Thug has claimed Lil Wayne is his idol, the two have had a frosty relationship after Thugger originally tried to name his prior release Carter 6. Young Thug and Birdman are also in a pending conspiracy case related to the shooting of Lil Wayne’s tour bus.
Slime Season should be full of surprises since it is a Young Thug mixtape, but Lil Wayne’s appearance is the biggest. Give it a listen below.
