Legendary Houston rapper Scarface was arrested at the BET Hip Hop Awards this weekend for unpaid child support.
Scarface had just accepted the “I Am Hip-Hop Icon” award on Friday night when Atlanta police officers placed him in handcuffs for the outstanding child support and carted him off to the Fulton County Jail.
According to Associated Press, Scarface, whose real name is Brad Jordan, owes $482,190 in child support. He stayed at least one night in the Fulton County Jail and a representative did not respond to request for comment.
