50 Cent To Release “Kanan” Mixtape

At the end of September, 50 Cent announced that a new mixtape would precede the long-awaited and almost mythological Street King Immortalalbum. He made the announcement by previewing new music, however he didn’t reveal the mixtape title.It looks like the title was just revealed this morning on Fif’s Instagram, where he poked fun at himself with dollar bills laid out to spell the word ‘BROKE.’ He captioned the photo, “Man this lunch money,I gotta go to work I’m still up, no Sleep at all. NEW MUSIC this week,Off The KANAN tape.”Kanan would be a reference to the menacing character that 50 plays in his Starz TV show “Power.” He’d definitely be a gangster ass character to base a mixtape around, and hopefully that incites Fif to go hard too.
