Cowboys Release Running Back Joseph Randle
Earlier today, with no official reason, The Cowboys waived running back Joseph Randle.
Randle, who did not play against the Seattle Seahawks Sunday because of a strained oblique, was demoted after starting the first six games of the season, giving his spot to running back Darren McFadden.
Randle has been battling with off-the-field personal issues that eventually got the league’s attention enough to consider disciplinary action. An incident occurred in his home town of Wichita, Kansas earlier this year where domestic violence and drug use was alleged. You also might remember he was arrested in 2014 after he walked out of a Dillard’s department store with cologne and underwear without paying.
