It’s been over two years since Jay Z last dropped a full-length LP (2013’s Magna Carta Holy Grail) and we haven’t really heard new music from Hov since. However, thanks to Tim Westwood, famed British DJ and hip-hop enthusiast, that just changed.
Yesterday (November 5), Westwood shared a previously unheard, four-minute Jay Z freestyle to satisfy our ears. Little details are known about the recording, other than it’s date: 1999; the same year Jay dropped off his fourth studio album, Vol. 3… Life and Times of S. Carter.
