Billboard’s List of the Greatest Rappers Ever Leaves People Scratching Their Heads

Last week Billboard released their “10 Greatest Rappers of All Time” list and people seem to agree on most of the emcees, but there is one noticeable name that’s missing. Tupac, who would be in most people’s top 5 let alone the top 10, didn’t even make the cut.

In a explanation of how the music-charting website arrived at the final list, they would like us to keep in mind they’re “ranking rappers, not rap artists. That’s why Dr. Dre and Kanye West, for example, two legendary producer-artists who don’t match the mic skills of those listed here, were left out.”
