James Wright went from singing about Patti Labelle’s sweet potato pies on Youtube to singing with Patti Labelle at Thanksgiving dinner.
Patti and James spent the holiday together, singing and eating the treat that united them in the first place.
Instead of a traditional prayer over the feast, Patti and Wright blessed the food with a duet, Questlove said on Instagram.
Despite some shady behavior on Patti’s part, (she told TMZ she was responsible for the recent boost in sales of her pie), Patti gave Jame’s his credit during an interview with Fox and thanked the Vlogging star with the ultimate gift, dinner at her place.
