Mariah Carey Hospitalized After New York Appearance

Mariah Carey is laid up in an NYC hospital bed with a severe case of the flu. She began feeling ill after an event at a Pier 1 store last night, but became so dehydrated and sick that her people elected for an immediate trip to the E.R.

She’s on the ticket for a major concert in NYC on Saturday night, and according to TMZ, sources close to her say she’ll make it. Perhaps thinking about the $300k she was paid to appear at the event last night will get her feeling better quickly!
