Philly Police Use Drake's 'Hotline Bling' For Their New PSA
Sorry, Meek: Philadelphia Police Department Uses Drake’s “Hotline Bling” In Their New PSA
If you thought the “Hotline Bling” parodies were left in 2015, you were wrong.
The latest features the Philadelphia Police using Drake‘s summer anthem in a PSA about traffic cones. The PPD must have an aspiring rapper on its force. Case in point? Lines like, “Call us on your cell phone, late night when you see that cone” and “when we get that dispatch ring, that can only mean one thing.”
It was originally posted to the Philly Police Department’s Facebook, and has currently garnered over 370,000 views and over 7,000 likes. The best part about this video isn’t Drake in a turtleneck tossing around traffic cones, it’s the fact that it originated in Philadelphia – hometown of number one Drizzy hater and defeated rapper Meek Mill.
