Meek Mill Skips Jail Time, Sentenced To House Arrest
Meek Mill caught a break this time around in court.
According to reports, Nicki Minaj‘s boo will not receive jail time for a recent probation violation. The Philly-bred rapper appeared before a judge on Friday to be sentenced for violating terms of his parole and instead of getting jail time, like rival 50 Cent may have hoped, Meek was ordered to 90 days in-house arrest.
The news comes just a week after Meek dropped the second installment of his 4/4 EP – the same night as Drake’s new vicious track “Summer Sixteen.”
Meek’s probation stems from a 2009 drug and gun charge.
Luckily, Meek isn’t currently on his girl’s tour. Because he’s not going anywhere for a while.
