Two 17-year-old brothers died on the bobsled track at the Canada Olympic Park in Calgary. Jordan and Evan Caldwell were on there way down on their personal sled when they hit a “large gate used to separate the bob sled and luge tracks.” Six others were injured. [NBC News]

A police chase ended tragically this weekend. Three died in a “fiery crash” near the Super Bowl site after police tried to stop a car that was doing doughnuts. When the police attempted to pull the vehicle over, the driver sped off and ran through red lights. It eventually crashed into a cab & “burst into flames.” [USA Today]
