Somber Kesha Thanks Her Supporters As Dr. Luke Allegations Linger
Kesha thanks her fans for the support she’s received after Sony refused to voluntarily release her from a contract that requires she make three more albums with producer Dr. Luke, the man she claims sexually assaulted her on numerous occasions.
Kesha’s lawyer Mark Geragos shared a short clip of what appears to be a new track. In it, the pop star thanks her fans throughout this difficult time. Geragos also tweeted as a caption, “A special thanks to everyone who has had her back #animals.”
“I don’t know what I would do, without you,” sings Kesha. The Los Angeles native and Dr. Luke have been in an ongoing court battle for years. Kesha claims Luke drugged and raped her, as well as verbally abused her since the early days of her career. The singer says the sexual and emotional abuse is what led to her eating disorder and stint in rehabilitation.
