Legendary Artist Yoko Ono Hospitalized, Son Denies Rumors Of A Stroke
Multimedia artist and activist Yoko Ono was sent to the hospital yesterday when she started feeling very ill, reports say.
The 83-year-old felt extreme flu-like symptoms and was sent to the same New York hospital her late husband John Lennon passed away in. Media outlets began reporting that she had a stroke, but her publicist Elliot Mintz quickly denied those statements. “Her doctor thought it would be a good idea for her to get checked,” Mintz said.
Her son, Sean Ono Lennon, also denied the false reports in a tweet. He stated that his mother was just tired and dehydrated.
We’re glad Ono is doing fine.
