Erykah Badu Shares Personal Stories With Prince and Their Dallas Performances
The world got the shocking news of Prince’s passing yesterday and several celebrities have taken to social media to express their condolences, discuss the legacy he left behind and the impact he had on music, and to share personal stories.
Dallas princess Erykah Badu is one of those celebrities who had a close relationship with the Artist formerly known as Prince, and took to her Facebook page to grieve and share some of her personal experiences.
She writes about and the times they shot pool and argued over religion, how he had a “swear jar” and she would immediately put $20 in it when she walked in, and how he was gracious enough to accompany her in ‘the hood of South Dallas’ and stayed and played all night.
