In anticipation of his July 1st release blackSUMMERS’night, Maxwell has unleashed the single and lyric video for “1990x.”
In usual Maxwell fashion, the R&B crooner delivers the smooth romantic feels we all know and love. Pleading for closeness and intimacy, he sings, “Lay here closely beside me / Feel my heart as it’s pounding / We will climax with reason / ‘Cause we’re grown and we own it.”
This release follows in the footsteps of “Lake By the Ocean’s” music video, which featured some bedroom action.
