Beyonce & Kendrick Lamar Light Up The 2016 BET Awards With A Wet & Wild Performance Of “Freedom”
The Queen just set the 2016 BET Awards into Formation.
Beyonce took a brief intermission from slaying the country with her Formation World Tour to set the BET Awards ablaze with an electric performance of “Freedom” featuring Kendrick Lamar. Prior to tonight, no one had any inkling that the Queen would be making an appearance, much less performing, at this years awards given the past few years she’s chosen to skip. That was until an army of her dancers completely shut down the red carpet, dressed to the nines in vintage garb.
When the lights dimmed and the drums blared, Beyonce wowed the crowd with her gang of tribal dancers and jaw dropping vocals. A hooded Kendrick Lamar emerged towards the end of the performance, and the two jammed as they continue their collaboration.
