‘Power’ has record breaking season finale, gets renewed for next two seasons
Two days after 2.26 million viewers tuned in to watch Starz’s original drama ‘Power”s season 3 finale, Starz decided to renew the hit show for another two seasons.
The record setting amount of views has made Sunday’s episode the most watched episode ever of any Starz original shows. This will be the first time the show has had a multi-season renewal, signalling to the shows success. The high scoring episode was up over 58% from its second season finale, and had nearly four times the viewers as it’s first season.
The show’s creator Courtney A. Kemp is scheduled to return along with executive producer Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson.
