One of Tony Gaskin‘s mottos is all about being “unstoppable,” and that’s what I was blessed to learn from him in New Orleans earlier this month.
Tony explained how it’s time to take life into your own hands: “I’m just a country boy from Florida and I started building my brand in 2009…I was really trying to break a generational curse because when I grew up, I saw three options. I can be overworked and underpaid, like my parents. I can be a pro athlete like Tracy McGrady (we are from the same town), or I could be a drug dealer like my cousin. I tried all three.”
After these failed attempts, Tony took to Twitter and started building his own brand with inspiring quotes. After a retweet from Alicia Keys, he quickly became the go-to source for motivation.
Since that one tweet, Tony has changed his life, growing his brand to reach millions. He’s currently a life coach for the NBA, pulling in close to eight figures. Now that’s success.
“If you don’t build your dream, someone will hire you to build theirs.”
