Rihanna, Kendrick Lamar More To Headline 2016 Global Citizen Festival

We’re looking forward to closing out summer at the 2016 Global Citizen Festival in Central Park this September—especially now that we know who’s hitting the stage.

Rihanna, Kendrick Lamar, Metallica, Selena Gomez, and Major Lazer are all set to headline the show, which was started as a way to draw attention to the world’s greatest challenges. Coldplay’s Chris Martin serves as Creative Director, and Chelsea Handler, Deborra-Lee Furness, Hugh Jackman, Neil Patrick Harris, Priyanka Chopra, Salma Hayek Pinault, and Seth Meyers will all cohost the big night in NYC.

Per usual, you can earn your tickets by using social media to do great deeds (see those instructions here) and you might want to get started on that ASAP, as there are only fourteen more days until the drawing.

The festival is always a good time full of memorable performances. If you missed last year’s, watch Beyoncé and Ed Sheeran tear up the stage here. See you at The Great Lawn on Sept. 24.
