Nene Leakes Fake Runs To Pay Real Back Taxes, $800k Worth!

Nene Leakes is always quick to address rumors, especially regarding her finances.

Friday afternoon, PEOPLE reported that the 48-year-old owes a whopping $824,366.01 in back taxes for the year 2014, according to court documents obtained.

PEOPLE notes: The reality star, whose real name is Linnethia Monique Leakes, was hit with a federal tax lien on July 22 in a Georgia court. According to the documents, the IRS has made a demand for payment of the liability, but it remains unpaid. As a result, Leakes’ assets and properties may begin to be seized in order to collect on her debt.

By evening, the same day, Leakes responded on Instagram with a whitty post.

“Running out the hotel to pay this bill. Y’all know I ain’t got no jobsssssss. Let me borrow 20$ #unstoppableNene #oversight #shaneinthebacktripping”

So it appears that the money is owed and an accountant may need to be fired. But on the upside, she would have had to make a lot of money that year, to owe almost a million dollars in taxes.
