By now the world should expect the unexpected when it comes to 2024, but when it comes to hip-hop- nothing is predictable. Overnight,  Drake sent music fans into a frenzy after publishing a website titled ‘100GIGSFORYOURHEADTOP’ featuring 100 gigabytes of content including new songs, instrumentals, and behind the scenes video footage. ATL rappers 21 Savage and Young Thug appear on a song titled “It’s Up” and there’s also a feature with Latto called “Housekeeping Knows” produced by Gordo.

The singles received mixed reviews with one user on X writing, “Kendrick said ‘You run to Atlanta when you need a check balance’ and Drake drops three songs with Atlanta artists on 😂 read the room man”, while another user said, “Bruhhhh the amount of hits and slaps Drake casually just has in the vault man 😭😭.”

Some highlights from the site include throwback clips of rapper Future and Drake in the desert driving dune buggies, Steph Curry coming over to play ping pong, and his son Adonis as a baby at a rehearsal.  One controversial video includes Drake and Rihanna on stage rehearsing for their song ‘Take Care’, which some users thought was inappropriate considering her current relationship with boyfriend and baby daddy A$AP Rocky. In more footage, Drake is in the studio listening to ‘Take Care’ with his engineer and mom when he tells her the song is actually about Serena Williams, to which his mom replies, “I gathered.”

This is the first time Team Drizzy has gotten music from Drake since the beef with Kendrick Lamar and the explosion of “Not Like Us”. Now hip-hop enthusiasts are waiting to see if Drake will release a full project anytime soon. For now,
