The drunk driving charges that Justin Timberlake once faced ended in a plea deal.
The legal team of the singer was able to move his DWI charges down to a less serious offense. The new offense is a traffic violation.
JT’s lawyers and prosecutors were able to come to an agreement that he would plea guiltily to Driving While Ability Impaired, which is different then a drunk driving offense.
Now, all Justin Timberlake has to do is pay a fine that ranges from $300 to $500 dollars. The exact amount will be determined during his hearing this Friday. (Sept. 13th)
His license will still be suspended for a year, but this is due to him refusing to take a breathalyzer test. Failure to take the test results in automatic licenses suspension.
When Justin Timberlake got pulled over back in June, he told authorities that he only had one martini and was following a friend home.
