H.E.B Plans to Expand to Dallas, Here Is Where It Will be Located

H-E-B has been popping up all across North Texas, but until recently, the city of Dallas was not apart of its expansion for the popular Texas brand.

Where is the new H.E.B In Dallas located?

On Thursday, H-E-B made an announcement: they had bought a 10-acre plot of land in Dallas, Texas, near the southeast corner of Hillcrest Road and LBJ Freeway, according to WFAA. The Dallas County Tax Office and the North Dallas property, which is presently under development, are located across the street from each other.

According to the press release announcement, H-E-B will start collaborating with the city and neighbors in Dallas after buying the land to rezone it and prepare for the construction of the first H-E-B design look in the city. reportedly H-E-B will provide additional information as the project progresses.

For a long time, H-E-B had stores in surrounding cities like Burleson, Hudson Oaks, and Waxahachie and the adjacent North Texas districts. Several locations in Collin County were opened by the grocer in 2021, marking their entry into the more populous districts of North Texas.

There is an H-E-B Joe V’s Smart Shop in Dallas, and there will be another one soon. Central Market locations located throughout North Texas are also owned by the firm.

The Dallas Business Journal reports that rival grocery stores in the area have increased their investments in response to the grocer’s growth into North Texas. North Texas is home to several big grocery stores, including Albertson’s, Walmart, Kroger, and Tom Thumb. The three new Tom Thumb stores in North Texas—in Midlothian, Sanger, and Sunnyvale—have just broken ground, according to WFAA.
