Dallas just got a little more decadent, and a lot more delicious thanks to Winsome Prime, the newest fine dining experience nestled in the heart of Trinity Groves and best of all, it’s Black-owned and unapologetically upscale.

I had the honor of attending the soft opening and from the moment I stepped out of my car, the vibe was five-star. Warm greeters welcomed guest with genuine Southern hospitality, while the ambiance inside offered cozy lighting and a laid-back luxe energy that’s idea for a date night, girls night out or celebrating something special.

I kicked things off with with a glass of champagne and their signature “Sand on the Beach” cocktail. This tropical masterpiece blending Bacardi Coconut Rum, Blue Curacao, Peach Schnapps, pineapple juice, Granderu coconut syrup topped with a lime leaf foam was absolutely a vacation in a glass.

For starters, the Truffle Lemon Pepper Wings came fried to perfection with a tangy truffle twist that elevated the familiar.

The Crab Beignets were fried, fluffy, dusted in powdered sugar and filled with crab and I must say this dish was unexpected and absolutely unforgettable.

My main course was the Spinach Stuffed Salmon topped with a jumbo lump of crab meat, cherry tomatoes and citrus beurre blanc sauce served alongside charred asparagus. It was rich, flavorful and plated beautifully.

Let’s talk about desert. The French Toast Bread Pudding. I was not sure I was going to like this because I am not a fan of bread pudding however, the deep fried desert drizzled with caramel, paired with vanilla ice cream was pure comfort and class.

Winsome Prime delivers on flavor, service and soul. It’s a bold new chapter in Dallas dining, where culture meets culinary excellence. Best believe I’ll be back, with friends. This spot is really a vibe.
