Brotherly Shove?: Lil Uzi Vert calls out Jalen Hurts on social media, “My diamonds better”

It’s a jewelry showdown in the city of brotherly love. Philly’s own Lil Uzi vert took to social media to call out Philadelphia’s most beloved sports figure, Jalen Hurts, and his jewelry collection.

In a triad of Instagram story posts, the “Just Wanna Rock” rapper took a jab at the Eagles QB. The first posting, was a picture of Hurts pregame, writing “My diamonds better lil big bro”

His second post was a picture of Hurts warming up, captioning “Everytime I see you better have that chain on.” Directing it to Hurts with an @ symbol, Uzi Vert continued “It’s up forever, I have the best diamonds in Philly… Signed by Your King”

Finally, Lil Uzi compares him to another Philly icon, Will Smith. His last post was a picture of hurts blacked out, with shade a beats ear piece, and a black suit. Uzi captioned “You not Will Smith LIL BIG BRO… GOOD MORNING THO” with Will Smith’s Men in Black playing in the background.

Why did Lil Uzi Vert call out Jalen Hurts?

Fans are puzzled as to why Uzi woke up and chose violence, as it was believed Uzi had a great relationship with the team. In fact, Uzi led the team out of the Lincoln Financial Field tunnel two years ago in the 2023 NFC Championship.
