Take a look below at the Cowboys NFL Draft Picks 2025: Full List Of Team’s Round-By-Round Selections.

1. Round 1, No. 12: Tyler Booker (G, Alabama)

  • Overview: Booker was a standout guard at Alabama, known for his consistency and dominance in the trenches. He allowed only one sack in 970 pass-blocking snaps over three college seasons and had a blown-block percentage of just 0.8% last year.
  • Impact: Booker is expected to start immediately, filling the void left by Zack Martin’s retirement. His size (6’5″, 325 lbs) and skill set make him a perfect fit for Dallas’ offensive line tradition. He’ll help protect Dak Prescott and improve the running game.

2. Round 2, No. 44: Donovan Ezeiruaku (EDGE, Boston College)

  • Overview: Ezeiruaku is a pass-rushing force, leading the ACC with 16.5 sacks and 62 quarterback pressures last season. He also recorded 45.5 tackles for loss and eight forced fumbles during his college career.
  • Impact: While the Cowboys already have a strong pass rush led by Micah Parsons, Ezeiruaku adds depth and insurance for the future, especially with Dante Fowler Jr. and Sam Williams in contract years. His versatility will allow defensive coordinator Matt Eberflus to rotate players effectively.

3. Round 3, No. 76: Shavon Revel Jr. (CB, East Carolina)

  • Overview: Revel is a tall (6’3″), physical cornerback with excellent length and press-man coverage skills. Despite suffering a torn ACL in 2024, the Cowboys are confident in his recovery, as their team surgeon performed the operation.
  • Impact: With Trevon Diggs recovering from knee surgery and Jourdan Lewis leaving in free agency, Revel provides both depth and a potential long-term starter. He had 12 pass deflections and three interceptions in 2023.

4. Round 5, No. 149: Jaydon Blue (RB, Texas)

  • Overview: Blue had a breakout season in 2024, rushing for 730 yards and eight touchdowns while adding 42 receptions for 368 yards and six scores. He’s a versatile back with good hands but needs to improve ball security.
  • Impact: Blue will compete for snaps in a crowded backfield that includes Javonte Williams and Miles Sanders. His ability to contribute as a receiver out of the backfield could make him a valuable third-down option.

5. Round 5, No. 152: Shemar James (LB, Florida)

  • Overview: James is a productive linebacker with 166 tackles, 11.5 tackles for loss, and five sacks in college. He’s also shown the ability to force turnovers and defend the pass.
  • Impact: James will likely start as a special teams contributor but has the potential to develop into a rotational linebacker. With injuries and expiring contracts in the linebacker corps, he provides much-needed depth.

6. Round 6, No. 204: Ajani Cornelius (OL, Oregon)

  • Overview: Cornelius is a physical lineman with 50 career starts at right tackle. While he’s raw, his style of play aligns with the Cowboys’ desire for a physical offensive line.
  • Impact: Cornelius will compete for a backup role and could transition to guard. He adds depth to a unit that has dealt with injuries in recent years.

7. Round 7, No. 217: Jay Toia (DT, UCLA)

  • Overview: Toia is a run-stuffing defensive tackle with the size (325 lbs) to clog up the middle. He recorded 19 pressures last season and has shown flashes of pass-rushing ability.
  • Impact: Toia will provide depth behind Mazi Smith and could be used in short-yardage and goal-line situations.

8. Round 7, No. 239: Phil Mafah (RB, Clemson)

  • Overview: Mafah is a power back with over 2,800 career rushing yards and 28 touchdowns. At 6’1″ and 230 lbs, he brings a physical running style to the backfield.
  • Impact: Mafah will compete for a roster spot in a crowded backfield. His size and power complement the speed and versatility of other backs like Jaydon Blue.

9. Round 7, No. 247: Tommy Akingbesote (DT, Maryland)

  • Overview: Akingbesote is a versatile interior lineman with the ability to play multiple spots. He had 32 tackles, five tackles for loss, and one sack in 2024.
  • Impact: Akingbesote will compete for a roster spot and could develop into a rotational player on the defensive line.
